The New Site

Sunday, April 20, 2008

You may have noticed, I’ve finally overhauled the FFF site. I took advantage of an extra day in Dongola, Sudan, and made use of the great internet connection here to upload photos, type out entries and pour some love into this neglected blog.

I’ve chronicled the first few days of my current adventure: traveling the length of the Nile from its source in Ethiopia to its end in Egypt.

Comments are back again! Please leave some!

    Dear Jordan
This new site is great. I like the pictures being included in the travelogue dialogue. Has much, much more reader appeal (to me).
When clicking on a country or month can the data or pictures be presented in their chronological order rather than the last entry for a catagory being presented first - like starting with your entry to a country and continuing on until you leave it? Doing anything about the magazine submissions?
Possible prospects - outdoor life, travel, leisure time, sports. Your writing style make your adventures really come to life and your pictures in the travelogues give them a really professional presentation.
    Love Grandpa

Thanks Grandpa! I’m going to change the archive pages to display posts in reverse chronological order as you suggested - that’s a great idea. I haven’t made any submissions to travel publications yet - I haven’t yet found any that I think would be a good fit…
